The Associate develops prospecting plans, sources financial partners, supports managers, drives sales, organizes marketing efforts, and utilizes Salesforce for lead management.
Great Private Equity and Venture Capital firms look for creative ways to help their investments grow and be more successful. The FloQast Private Equity & Venture Capital Alliances Program was created to help those firms drive more value for their investments by improving the accounting and finance department’s workflow to close the books faster & more accurately. The Associate’s role is to help the Alliance Managers source PE/VC partners to build FloQast’s network of preferred partners, bringing added value to their portfolio companies and investments. We drive new sales and also influence current prospects through our partnership efforts.

This role has a requirement of working in office 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). Starting in 2026, we plan to expand to 4 days per week, adding Mondays.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts tailored specifically towards PE & VC investors
- Source, schedule and create value pitches for your Alliance Managers
- Support Alliance Managers in creating multi-level relationships within firms, from Operating Partner to Investors
- Organize and fill targeted marketing efforts - including events and webinars - to connect with new partners and source opportunities
- Lead trainings with FloQast’s Sales team to educate them on our PE & VC partnership efforts
- Create custom Private Equity messaging for Alliance Managers, AEs & BDRs to leverage in their outreach
- Self source high-quality leads from the portfolio of investments from each PE/VC firm
- Coordinate with internal resources to accomplish goals, enable partners, and keep partners engaged with FloQast
- Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.com
- Create custom reports and lists using Pitchbook
- Identify opportunities for new alliances and partnerships to expand FloQast’s reach, while maintaining a solid pipeline of new potential partners
- Occasional travel required
What You'll Bring
- 2+ Years working or partnering with a Financial Services firm
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required
- Solid attention to detail
- Builder mindset, comfortable sharing ideas, trying new approaches and focused on achieving team and company short and long term goals
- Flexible and adaptable in high growth, start-up environment
- Strong ability to drive execution of strategic initiatives and tactics
- A track record of working in a fast-paced environment, setting your own demanding expectations, inspiring and supporting your teammates and exceeding those expectations
- Ability to understand FloQast’s products as well as to interact with product, marketing, sales, and operational teams and executives through a variety of channels

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. This position is eligible for a commission plan in addition to base pay. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
