Overview
This role is designed for an experienced professional with deep expertise in banking and credit unions, who can act as both a strategic advisor and business development driver. The ideal candidate will bring credibility, industry knowledge, and a hands-on approach to help us grow our Financial Institutions (FI) practice, strengthen client relationships, and position our firm as a trusted solutions provider beyond traditional CRM delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Engagement & Credentialization
•Serve as an executive arm of the organization, engaging with senior leaders of banks and credit unions.
•Build credibility and act as a trusted advisor, clearly articulating the value proposition of our solutions.
•Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client-facing sessions.
2. Program & Client Success
•Partner with clients to align technology and transformation initiatives with their strategic goals. Identify their “CRM blind spot” where they didn’t know they could use CRM/process automation for specific tactics.
•Facilitate on-site strategy sessions to co-create 1–3 year roadmaps addressing lending, retail banking, marketing, and operational efficiency. Conduct Quarterly business reviews with them
•Ensure programs deliver measurable business outcomes, increasing client retention and lifetime value.
•Share best practices to achieve their strategic goals with the Credit Union and regional banks, i.e. Initiatives that had success and how to articulate at your financial institution (ex: How to have your Indirect new members covert as primary financial institution)
3. Business Development & Market Expansion
•Drive net-new business opportunities, with a strong focus on retail & commercial banking transformation.
•Collaborate on product development, go-to-market positioning, and thought leadership in financial services. Help build TCO 2-5 years
•Leverage industry knowledge to identify and capture growth opportunities with both new and existing clients.
4. Strategic Advisory & Internal Enablement
•Support internal teams by providing financial services expertise and guidance.
•Help evolve client management from administrative tasks toward true advisory and growth-partner roles.
•Provide oversight, insight, and mentorship on structuring client engagements, proposals, and strategic plans.
•Drive some leadership workshops during our Inception process
5. Ad Hoc Contributions
•Represent the company in speaking engagements and client events.
•Provide executive presence and thought leadership in marketing and brand-building efforts.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
•15+ years of experience in financial services (banking/credit unions), with proven success in business growth and client strategy.
•Strong executive presence with ability to build trust and credibility with middle management and C-suite leaders.
•Deep understanding of banking operations, lending, and commercial banking.
•Demonstrated ability to craft strategic roadmaps and translate client goals into actionable business outcomes.
•Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments, willing to roll up sleeves and execute.
•Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
