As a Strategic Account Manager at Blend, you will be the expert on Blend Close, focusing on providing strategic direction to the country’s top lenders to unlock the full potential of our eClosing product. Your work will directly impact the future of lending at the largest financial institutions in the US. You’ll be responsible for identifying and articulating how Blend Close can streamline workflows, reduce costs, and create a superior closing experience for both lenders and borrowers, truly transforming their technology and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Management and ownership of enterprise and strategic client accounts, ensuring 100% customer adoption and success.
- Proactively gather product feedback and conveying this to Product, Services and Engineering teams.
- Work closely with all levels of client organizations to uncover opportunities for growth within their business.
- Closely communicating with customers regarding product updates, new features and releases.
Requirements:
- 12+ years' prior relevant enterprise level account management or sales experience at SaaS software company.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to develop a deep understanding of the Blend product, mortgage market and our customers' needs.
- Experience in supporting and managing complex client relationships while discovering opportunities for revenue growth.
- Demonstrated listening and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executive leaders.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.
For full time hires, the OTE (base + variable) is between $250,000 and $300,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.
Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
