Position Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a an experienced and highly motivated financial services professional to join our enterprise team as a Strategic Account Manager. This role is focused on driving sales of enterprise software that supports accounting, payments, premium financing, reconciliation, commissions, and financial management solutions for large agencies & brokers. You will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Solution Consultants to identify customer needs, present value-driven solutions, and grow our financial management presence among large insurance agencies and brokers. This is a remote role based in the United States.

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $150,000 - $175,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with enterprise account teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for financial management software solutions.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert (SME) for accounting, payments, premium financing, reconciliation, commissions, and financial management solutions across pre-sales and post-sales initiatives.
- Engage senior finance and IT stakeholders (CFOs, controllers, heads of accounting, financial analysts) to understand business challenges, money movement, and align software capabilities with measurable outcomes.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations and ROI/business case analyses that address industry-specific pain points
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support training, enablement, and best practice sharing across the sales organization.
- Partner with product management and marketing to provide market feedback and help shape solution messaging and roadmap priorities.
We're Excited to Learn More About You
- 5+ years in insurance / finance with d eep understanding of financial and regulatory processes within the insurance industry (P&C)
- Experience in enterprise software, ideally in financial management, ERP, or analytics platforms.
- Proven ability to articulate complex financial and technical concepts to both business and IT audiences.
- Strong executive presence
- Familiarity with modern SaaS platforms, cloud financial systems, and insurance finance workflows.
- Achieve annual sales targets for the financial management solutions.
- Increase attachment rates of solutions across enterprise insurance accounts.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with field sales teams.
- Demonstrate measurable business outcomes through customer success stories and renewals.
- Up to 50% travel in the US
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
