We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Executive to join our team, focusing specifically on the Department of Defense (DOD). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to drive growth and revenue within the DOD sector. You will work closely with key stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions that meet their objectives. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the DoD landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of success in sales with the Government.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives within the DOD sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within the DOD.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of the DOD's needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering, to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of the DOD.
- Provide thought leadership and industry insights to position Unstructured as a trusted partner within the Defense community.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value of Unstructured's solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the DoD.
- Monitor and report on account performance, including pipeline development, sales forecasts, and key metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal sales, with a strong focus on the Department of Defense.
- Experience selling consumption-based products into Army, Air Force, and more.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within the federal sector.
- Deep understanding of the DOD landscape, including its structure, procurement processes, and key initiatives.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex account plans.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
