Our product is highly technical. It includes powerful node-based workflow creation, AI integrations, custom scripting, self-hosting, and advanced API connectivity. To market it well, we need someone who doesn’t just understand these concepts - but can communicate them with clarity, creativity, and credibility.

That’s where you come in.

As our Staff Technical Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end execution of technical product marketing for key areas of our product - across AI, enterprise, and developer-focused features. You’ll turn complex capabilities into compelling stories and assets that drive adoption, engage developers, and set us apart from competitors.

MISSION

Elevate n8n’s technical product marketing execution by crafting powerful, credible content and messaging that resonates with developers and technical decision-makers - while using AI and automation to scale our impact.

  • 🚀 Own technical launches: Lead the end-to-end marketing execution of major feature releases—crafting narratives, content, and campaigns that land with technical users.

  • 🧠 Translate complexity: Turn deeply technical features into compelling messaging that resonates with engineers, solution architects, and enterprise buyers.

  • 📈 Drive adoption: Collaborate with product, engineering, DevRel, and demand gen to ensure feature releases reach the right audience with the right message.

  • 🎯 Be the subject matter expert: Deeply understand n8n’s capabilities, competition, and developer needs—become the go-to voice on how we win with technical audiences.

  • ⚙️ Create scalable systems: Use AI tools and automation to streamline content creation, launch processes, and technical storytelling.

  • 📊 Measure what matters: Build systems to track engagement, feature adoption, and the impact of your work on our technical audience growth.

You’ll report to the Head of Product Marketing, and work cross-functionally with:

  • Product managers and engineering leads to understand upcoming releases

  • DevRel to align messaging and documentation

  • Community and partnerships teams to amplify technical stories

  • Demand generation and brand teams to coordinate GTM efforts

In your first 3 months, you will have:

  • Launched your first major product feature with strong technical positioning

  • Created a technical messaging framework for one key product area

  • Introduced AI tools to streamline product marketing execution

In 6 months:

  • Built repeatable processes for technical GTM execution

  • Delivered technical content that drives measurable engagement and adoption

  • Developed a scalable playbook for technical product marketing

In 12 months:

  • n8n is seen as a leading voice among technical communities

  • Our launches are deeply impactful and consistently resonate with developers

  • You’ve laid the foundation for a future team of technical product marketers

REQUIREMENTS

Must-haves:

  • You are based on the East Coast and fully allowed to work in the US

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with BtoB technical products, including end-to-end ownership of major launches

  • Strong technical understanding — comfortable with concepts like AI, scripting, data processing, or software architecture

  • Proven ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling messaging for developers and technical buyers

  • Hands-on content creation experience — blog posts, launch materials, documentation, webinars, etc.

  • Deep understanding of developer and technical audience needs and how to craft messaging that resonates

  • Successful track record collaborating with product, engineering, DevRel, and go-to-market teams

  • Strong analytical skills — able to measure impact and optimize for engagement and adoption

  • Experience using AI tools to streamline and scale product marketing workflows

  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can independently drive high-impact initiatives
