Staff Systems Marketing Engineer

Analog Devices is currently recruiting for the role of Systems Product Marketing Engineer in the Precision Signal Chain team in Milan, Valencia or Ireland.

**Semiconductor background and experience is key for this role - NOT a Business Marketing position**

The Systems Marketing Engineer is responsible for defining, driving and owning the Precision system strategy across key target markets. The role sits at intersection of technology insight, market insight, system architecture and business execution. In partnership with the systems application manager the candidate will translate customer pain points and market trends into clear strategies, solution roadmaps, positioning and revenue impact.

Built on ADI’s core Precision Technology franchise, the Precision Signal Chain Systems team leverages these capabilities to develop innovative signal-chain solutions that address key market challenges in Instrumentation, Industrial, Energy, Data Center, and Digital Healthcare. The Systems Marketing candidate should have the technical depth to position the value of precision signal chains against system-level challenges, and to identify the precision challenges to prioritize by clearly articulating system impact.  The candidate should have the expertise to understand the available technology, formulate early concept proposals to match to system challenge.

The role requires the development of strong partnerships with end market teams and sales teams working together to deliver impactful solutions to the customer.  The candidate should have a strong technical background coupled with business acumen. 

Key responsibilities

System & Market Ownership

  • Develop deep application-level insight by working with the technology teams, system application teams and customers.
  •  Leverage systems and market insights to define and own Precision System strategy.
  • Translate customer needs into clear system roadmaps and investment priorities.
  • Drive “solution” development and positioning rather than component selling in Precision Signal Chain Team.

Sales Enablement & Ecosystem

  • Enable Sales to position Precision Solutions for customer Application Challenges
  • Develop system level marketing collateral, training and messaging.
  • Identify and develop strategic partners required for solution success.
  • Promote precision solutions through all Go to Market channels.

Commercial Impact

  • Build, grow and track the precision system level opportunity Pipeline.
  • Prioritise opportunities based on system value and revenue impact.
  • Support strategic pricing discussions and customer negotiations.
  • Influence technology roadmaps to meet system roadmap needs.

Desirable Experience

  • Strong technical background in semiconductor, electronic systems or signal chain architecture.
  • Experience in product marketing, systems marketing, applications engineering or other technical roles.
  • Proven ability to work across and engage across multi-disciplinary teams towards successful outcomes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Up to 20% international travel required.
