The role

Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Own production robotics software across firmware, perception, motion planning, and cloud infrastructure in a staff-level engineering role.

What you'll do

- Orchestrate real-time robot code, motion planning systems, and machine learning pipelines.

- Build perception and data-labeling tools and improve robot intelligence infrastructure.

- Solve technical problems across firmware, application software, and cloud systems.

- Deploy and troubleshoot robotic systems at customer facilities.

- Collaborate with hardware and software colleagues on production-ready designs.


Requirements

What we're looking for

- 5 to 10 years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.

- Experience building software for physical robots or autonomous hardware.

- Strong programming fundamentals and Python proficiency.

- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.

- Ability to work across changing technical priorities and deliver code into physical production environments.

Bonus points

- Motion planning, perception, computer vision, or machine learning for robotics.

- ROS, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, or systemd experience.

- An advanced degree in robotics, computer vision, or machine learning.

Compensation and benefits

- Base salary: USD 180,000 to 250,000 per year.

- Equity: Competitive equity.

Location and work model

- Full-time onsite in Watertown, Massachusetts.

- Visa transfers are considered; new visa sponsorship is not available.
