Job Description:
A Staff Product Manager works to roadmap and deliver core functionality that helps our customers improve their learning and business outcomes. This leader plays a critical role in creating the strategy, coordinating delivery, and managing the business value and commercial performance of our core offering, including growth, retention (user experience and engagement), and bookings for their product line. They are an expert in their field and lead the delivery of important features and further areas of focus that align to our company strategy. Their role is to help identify and build frictionless points of engagement with our users. The successful candidate will be naturally cross-functional and detail oriented, as they will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between product management, experience design, engineering, content production, customers, and business stakeholders. This candidate has a high sense of urgency and accountability to drive a transformation culture and continuous improvement .

Create, communicate, present, and sell data‑driven product roadmaps and business cases to senior executives, clearly linking investment to expected business impact.
Build, prioritize, and refine requirements using discovery and data to drive your decisions
Perform market research and identify key market trends and customer segments that inform product innovation, positioning, and portfolio bets.
Growth/Retention Strategy:
Designing and leading cross-functional efforts to utilize the AI innovations to develop and implement AI-driven 'Predictive Churn' and 'Expansion' triggers along with competitive differentiators.
Own results for your product, including cost, revenue growth, retention, bookings growth, and portfolio‑level KPIs, and mobilize the team to impact these metrics.
Develop and maintain competitive analysis for your space, clearly articulating differentiation and informing roadmap and go‑to‑market strategy.
Interact directly with customers and prospects to understand their problems and goals, validate concepts, and incorporate internal feedback into an aligned multi-year product strategy and roadmap.
Collecting user data before, during onboarding, and throughout engagement with the platform
Collaborating with product and engineering team members through problem solving to create innovative solutions that are viable, desirable, and feasible.
Roadmap Focus:
Iris: Development of agentic workflows and predictive features to help users plan, implement and validate skills acquisition
Headless Product Strategy to support In the Flow : Architecting the "native" experience within OpenAI, Co-Pilot, Anthropic, and Gemini (e.g., custom GPTs, Claude Projects, or Gemini Gems) so your product lives where the user works. Examples include recommending learning experiences, labs and /or improving chat answers and presenting these options natively in the chat w/ the ideal experience never leaving the chat.
Experience dealing with internal and external team members spread across the world
Experience as a mentor or team lead preferred
Product experience focused on AI initiatives
Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS or software products
Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams comprised of Engineers and Product Designers
Experience strategizing product direction with inputs like competitive analysis, VoC, business reviews and business goals
Experience collaborating with GTM teams and an understanding of their drivers for successful cross functional initiatives
Strong experience with any product management and development tooling e.g. JIRA, Trello, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Pendo etc.
This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $195,000 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
