As a Staff Product Manager working within the Squarespace Domains organization, you will own the roadmap for TLD onboarding and registrar platform development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure systems. You'll also build APIs and self-service tools and manage Squarespace's 13M+ domain portfolio while tracking success metrics to drive continuous improvement.

As a senior-level individual contributor, you will report directly to a VP of Product and will have the option of working from our NYC headquarters or remotely within the U.S.

You'll Get To…

  • Own the roadmap for TLD onboarding and registrar platform development, ensuring alignment with Squarespace Domains' growth strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partner teams (Growth, Revenue, Operations, Registries) and Engineering to define specifications, resolve issues, and successfully execute launches.
  • Drive platform strategy and "platformization" efforts by building scalable, secure systems – including APIs and self-service tools for internal teams – to manage our TLD and 13M+ domain portfolio.
  • Onboard TLDs, add or update premium tiers, sunset TLDs, migrate backends, and update business or tech rules based on registry or internal requirements.
  • Develop and monitor success metrics to evaluate launches and continuously improve domain platform performance.

Who We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of product owner/management or similar experience with a strong understanding of web domains, ideally with experience in the registrar/registry business.
  • Knowledge of relevant technical systems architecture, and in scaling these up.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering teams and cross functional or matrixed delivery teams.
  • Demonstrable skills in storytelling and communication, leadership and influence, strategy and vision setting, and creative and analytical thinking.

Cash Compensation Range: $170,000 - $299,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
