Narvar is growing! We’re looking for an experienced Staff Product Designer to take on a pivotal leadership role within one of our core product pillars. This is a unique opportunity to solve complex, high-impact problems, and redefine the foundational experiences that power Narvar's business for the world's most beloved brands.

As a Staff Product Designer, you will be a strategic design partner, responsible for driving the user experience for a suite of products that serve both retailers and their end-customers. You will be instrumental in transforming complex challenges into simple, guided, and intelligent solutions.

Day-to-day
  • Lead the UX vision and strategy for your assigned product pillar, designing seamless and connected experiences for both retailers (merchants) and their end-customers (consumers).
  • Design for complex systems: Tackle ambiguous problem spaces and drive the design for sophisticated workflows, configuration tools, and data-rich interfaces that are both powerful and intuitive.
  • Collaborate deeply: Work in a tight, strategic partnership with product managers and engineering leads to translate complex business needs into elegant and effective design solutions.
  • Mentor and elevate: Act as a leader and mentor within the design team, elevating the craft, improving our processes, and helping to grow our junior talent.
  • Communicate with impact: Clearly articulate your design rationale and vision to stakeholders at all levels, from your immediate pod to the executive team.
  • Champion a strong foundation: Partner with your peers to establish and evolve a scalable information architecture and consistent interaction models for the future of the Narvar platform.
What we’re looking for
  • 7+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex B2B SaaS applications, enterprise tools, consumer-facing applications, and your ability to drive projects from concept to launch.
  • Strategic product thinker: You're passionate about understanding the "why" behind the work and can partner effectively with product management to define the product vision, not just execute on features.
  • Systems thinker: You have proven experience untangling complex, fragmented systems and designing logical, user-centric solutions.
  • Expert in interaction design: You can translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive, and guided user experiences.
  • Excellent communicator: You can clearly articulate your design decisions and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Fluency in leveraging AI tools throughout your design process, from research and synthesis to interactive prototyping.
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools like Figma.
Why Narvar?

We're on a mission to simplify the everyday lives of consumers. Post-purchase is a critical phase of the customer journey. That's why we created Narvar - a platform focused on driving customer loyalty through seamless post-purchase experiences that allow retailers to retain, engage, and delight customers. If you've ever bought something online, there's a good chance you've used our platform!

From the hottest new direct-to-consumer companies to retail’s most renowned brands, Narvar works with GameStop, Neiman Marcus, Sonos, Nike, and 1300+ other brands. With hubs in San Francisco, Atlanta, London, and Bangalore, we've served over 125 million consumers worldwide across 10+ billion interactions, 38 countries, and 55 languages.

Pioneering the post-purchase movement means navigating into the unknown. Our team thrives on this sense of adventure while nurturing a mindset of innovation. We're a home for big hearts and we leave our egos at the door. We work hard but we always make time to celebrate professional wins, baby showers, birthday parties, and everything in between.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
