About Suno

At Suno, we are building a future where anyone can make music. You can make a song for any moment with just a few short words. Award-winning artists use Suno, but our core user base consists of everyday people making music — often for the first time.

We are a team of musicians and AI experts, including alumni from Spotify, TikTok, Meta, Snap, and Kensho. We like to ship code, make music and drink coffee. Our company culture celebrates music and experimenting with sound — from lunchroom conversations to the studio in our office.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Staff Product Designer to craft amazing experiences across platforms and help define the future of music. You will primarily drive end-to-end designs for our web app on desktop and mobile, but you’ll have a hand in other surfaces as well. We want to craft the world’s best app for creating and listening to music, from each major user flow to the smallest minutiae of the interaction design.

If you’re passionate about our mission and have a portfolio that remains user-centered while balancing innovation with intuitiveness, we’d love to hear from you.

Check out our Suno job description!

What You’ll Do
  • Elevate the design of our web and mobile app experience across platforms because we love wearing a lot of hats.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and basically everyone else because you know the best ideas can come from anywhere.

  • Hold an incredibly high standard for quality and craft. You care about the little details (pixel-perfection, microinteractions, motion design) that add up to excellence.

  • Innovate. We aim to push the boundaries of UI and UX without losing sight of the user and what would be intuitive and engaging for them.

What You’ll Need
  • Experience crafting delightful consumer design. We’re flexible on experience level, but we do need to mutter “nice” to ourselves while scrolling through your portfolio.

  • A bias for action. You thrive as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment where you can wear many hats and bring your ideas to life.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. You’re always learning and growing, and can help bring clarity to a fast-moving problem space with more questions than answers.

  • Expertise in Figma. Bonus points for skills in animated prototype and building/maintaining design system components.

  • A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is a huge plus.

Additional Notes: Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
