The Role:

Monarch is seeking a talented Motion Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing animated assets that elevate our product and marketing efforts. These assets will be used across a variety of channels, including our website, in-app feature announcements, product launch campaigns, emails, blog posts, and social media channels. If you have a knack for storytelling through motion and want to help bring our product’s personality to life, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Design and produce animated graphics for marketing assets across web, in-app announcements, email campaigns, blog content, and social media.

  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to understand campaign goals and translate them into compelling visual stories.

  • Ensure all animations are on-brand, visually consistent, and aligned with Monarch’s design standards.

  • Iterate on feedback and optimize animations to improve user engagement and marketing effectiveness.

  • Partner with the design systems team to evolve our visual language, specifically as it relates to animations and motion.

What You’ll Bring:
  • 8+ years of design experience, with a breadth of product and marketing/brand design work

  • Experience in animation and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC, After Effects, or similar.

  • Strong visual storytelling abilities and attention to detail.

  • Deep interest in making financial products more expressive, engaging, and easy to understand through animation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
