Staff Mobile Engineer (Android/ iOS)

Our Technology team is the backbone of our company: constantly creating, testing, learning and iterating to better meet the needs of our customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment, you’re in the right place.

Why this job’s a big deal:

As a Staff Engineer on our Client Architecture & Platform team, you won’t just build features—you will build the foundation that every mobile engineer at Priceline stands on. You will solve high-level business problems by eliminating developer friction, re-architecting native apps for global scale, and pioneering the use of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). Your work directly impacts the stability and speed-to-market of our award-winning travel apps.

In this role you will get to:

  • Develop and maintain shared architecture and SDKs used across the entire mobile organization..

  • Champion native app best practices and drive the adoption of standardized architectures and GraphQL infrastructure.

  • Automate and streamline the native app release process to move us toward seamless, high-frequency deployments.

  • Lead the charge in monorepo management and technical initiatives that improve PR throughput and code maintainability.

  • Mentor junior and senior developers, leveraging AI tools to make them "brand aware" with relevant technical context.

  • Bridge the gap between our North America and Mumbai engineering teams to ensure a unified technical vision.

Who you are:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experience: 7+ years of related experience in mobile development, with at least 5+ years of deep expertise in Android or iOS (with a preference for Android-leaning candidates).

  • Multi-Platform Fluency: Strong experience with Swift, Kotlin, and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), or a proven appetite to work across both platforms.

  • Architecture Mindset: Proven history of working in monorepo environments and building SDKs or shared libraries.

  • DevOps Leanings: Experience with CI/CD, release automation, and improving the developer experience.

  • Values Driven: An illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

  • Integrity: The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life. Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential.
