Staff Full Stack Engineer
Compensation: $215,000-$230,000 per year depending on experience.
Generous PTO, Birthdays off, summer Fridays and a robust holiday schedule.

Role Overview:  

Exactera is seeking a highly motivated Staff Full Stack Engineer to operate as a tech lead on our fast-moving Emerging Product Engineering team. You will be responsible for managing and executing a product engineering team responsible for delivering outcomes aligned with your Product Lead partner. While Exactera has demonstrated excellence in these areas, our tremendous growth necessitates deeper, more specialized focus.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a team of Engineers to solve business problems through fast paced iterations and deploy working software that delivers business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the existing development teams to maintain momentum and alignment.
  • Communicate with senior leadership and ensure cohesive product engineering operations.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
  • Solve complex problems and implement scalable solutions using best practices.
  • Adapt to team culture quickly, demonstrating a positive and collaborative approach, with consistent async communication.

What You Will Need to Succeed:  

  • 10+ years of demonstrated Engineering delivery to business outcomes (both hands on and leadership).
  • A strong understanding of microservices architecture and implementation.
  • A strong understanding of CI/CD, feature flags, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure best practices.
  • Strong understanding of AWS, deployment pipelines, Terraform, and other similar technologies.
  • Strong background in Node.js, Lambda, and the AWS ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly in new environments and domains.
  • High level of self-motivation with a strong delivery mindset.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.

Cloud First System in AWS: Lambda, Fargate, RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDb, Kinesis
Microservices: architecture from UI all the way to the infrastructure 
CI/CD: Terraform, CircleCi
