About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Staff Cloud Engineer to join our Delivery team, whose mission is twofold: provide resilient, cost-effective, easily deployable, well-architected releases and design, deploy, and support cloud/hybrid infrastructure for both customers and internal stakeholders.  

This role requires exceptional technical expertise in cloud infrastructure design and operations, with deep knowledge of automation frameworks, deployment pipelines, and cloud architecture best practices. You will build and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions to develop, test, deploy, and iterate on our ICS/OT security products.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, document, and implement enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
  • Implement technical initiatives to improve deployment velocity, reliability, scalability, and quality (DORA metrics)
  • Establish and drive engineering best practices for development, testing, security, deployment architecture, automation, and operations
  • Provide technical insight during system design, implementation, and troubleshooting with a focus on automation, scalability, maintainability, and efficiency
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex cloud network architecture, including subnetting, NAT, and route summarization, to provide a secure, scalable network architecture
  • Drive adoption of modern cloud tools/technologies and industry-standard best practices across engineering teams
  • Support production deployments and respond to incidents/outages when problems are escalated to the team
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of hands-on IaaS/SaaS and cloud engineering experience 
  • Expansive knowledge on container orchestration (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure) 
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (i.e., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and how to use them to deliver software from development all the way through to production 
  • Demonstrated understanding of common branching strategies, semantic versioning, and git operations to deliver features and patches to supported application versions
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools (i.e., Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) 
  • Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based managed services (S3, EC2, AKS/EKS, RDS, CodePipeline, etc) as part of a larger product offering 
  • Experience with certificate issuance and management (PKI, x.509, RSA/ECC/DSA, TLS/SSL protocols, etc.) 
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog) 
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc) 
  • Experience with modern programming languages (Rust, Go, TypeScript, etc) 
  • Experience with cross-functional Product Teams
