  • Prepare and maintain financial schedules, support internal reporting, external audits, and ensure timely filing of sales tax returns across jurisdictions.
  • Support cash flow forecasting and variance analysis by monitoring liabilities, receipts, and operational trends.
  • Handle accounting for international subsidiaries, manage intercompany transactions, foreign currency reconciliations, and ensure compliance with transfer pricing and local requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes, respond to internal inquiries, and support ad hoc reporting and audit needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated ownership of core accounting functions.
  • Experience with foreign exchange and international accounting preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite or comparable ERP systems required.
  • Experience in retail, inventory management, logistics, or warehouse environments preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel and G Suite proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)

  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
