Assurant is seeking a Business System Analyst to join the Lending Solutions SSP team! The SSP Business System Analyst will support one of the SSP domains.  It is an exciting time to join the SSP team and make an impact on the future of Lending Solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze change requests received to determine the scope and how to apply the requested change to system rules. 
  • Complete root cause analysis to identify bugs, system process gaps, and user actions that contributed to identified quality errors. Recommend improvements based on findings and present suggestions to functional business leads.
  • Create and maintain procedural documentation including user guides, installation guides, quick-reference guides, release notes, system configuration guides, and help files.
  • Monitor SSP events and complete research on significant changes in event volume.
  • Managing projects and jumping in wherever is necessary to help improve the platform.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Detailed knowledge of Insurance tracking and mortgage loan servicing.
  • Have a love of details but can zoom up to link the details to the big picture.
  • Experience in breaking down complex processes into individual decisions and steps.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft tools including the ability to develop process maps, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively perform system support duties including summarizing and explaining complex processes to all levels of Assurant’s organization and Assurant’s clients.
  • Comfortable working with one foot in the technology world and the other in the business. 
  • Prior experience in business or process analysis.
  • Be a quick learner and a willingness to put in the extra time to ensure understanding.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years in a business analysis role.
  • 3+ years working in Black Knight (MSP).  Working knowledge of MSP should include but is not limited to an understanding of the insurance related modules, MSP systems limitations, interactions with MSP and Assurant owned applications (SFL, TKA and the Flood Sufficiency database).
  • Prior experience in product development using agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions and communicate actions.

Pay Range:

$72,900.00 - $121,900.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
