The Product Manager will define the vision for API federation, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop new GraphOS capabilities for major clients.
Are you an experienced product manager excited to work with developer tools that help the biggest companies around the world connect and orchestrate their APIs with GraphQL? As the Developer Experience Product Manager at Apollo, you'll lead product vision for the core capabilities that enable enterprises to adopt and scale Apollo's industry-leading API composition platform, GraphOS, across their organizations. You'll own our entire suite of developer tools—GraphOS Studio (our SaaS application for developing and managing GraphOS environments), Rover (our command-line interface), IDE extensions for VSCode and IntelliJ, and local development tools like GraphOS Sandbox—while exploring how emerging technologies like AI can transform the developer experience through initiatives like our recently launched Apollo MCP Server.In this role, you'll work directly with engineering teams at companies like Wayfair, The New York Times, and Coinbase, to understand their challenges and build solutions that make GraphQL development delightful at any scale. You'll define and drive Apollo's vision for the developer ecosystem, build roadmaps that balance immediate developer needs with long-term platform evolution, and ship features that meaningfully improve how developers build, manage, and operate distributed graphs. We are open to hiring these positions at a Staff Product Manager to Sr. Staff level, based on fit. The accompanied salary range covers these levels.
In addition to the U.S. base salary range, we also provide equity and benefits. Apollo offers all U.S. employees a choice of 3 Anthem Blue Cross medical plans and California residents can also choose from an additional 2 Kaiser medical plans. Dental and Vision benefits are provided by Sun Life Financial.
