Summary

QuEra Computing is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a fast-growing startup and help build the next generation of quantum computer management systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to our backend services written in Kotlin/Spring Boot and help shape and build our future user interface.

 

Experience

  • 5–10 years of professional software development experience
  • Backend development experience in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language, with a desire to use/learn Kotlin
  • Frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks like React or Vue
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with distributed cloud native architectures
  • Experience with micro services and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with event streaming platforms like Pulsar, Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers
  • Exposure to UI/UX design principles or building developer-friendly tools

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python
  • Experience working in agile, scrum, or kanban environments
  • Experience or exposure to embedded development concepts
  • Quantum-curious, though not required

 

The approximate base salary range for this position is $154,800-214,875.

We consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly.  We determine base compensation decisions on several factors, including as geographic placement, role-specific knowledge, skills, and/or experience.  In addition to our base salary offerings, we also provide equity grants for all new hires.
