- Python/Django, React, Tailwind / Material-UI
- Integrations with our subprocessors (see https://trust.brevitypitch.com)
- Contribute to system-level architecture and technical design reviews focused on performance, reliability, security, and cost.
- Champion engineering excellence—code review, automated testing, observability, CI/CD—helping us scale to the next order of magnitude.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to break down requirements, estimate effort, and deliver incremental value on predictable timelines.
- Occasionally provide mentorship to junior/mid-level engineers through pair-programming and thoughtful feedback, while remaining a strong individual contributor.
- Participate in a low-intensity on-call rotation (roughly one week per quarter) alongside the rest of the engineering team.
Required Qualifications:
- Recent experience (last 2 yrs) as a Senior Software Engineer in an early-stage, high-growth, fast-paced Startup team.
- Familiarity with some or all of: Python/Django, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Redis/SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB.
- In the last 6mos: Shipped PRs for Back-End and Front-End microservices, integrated with Cloud Services, ideally with several elements of the aforementioned stack.
- 3+ yrs building and scaling enterprise SaaS applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication – able to explain technical trade-offs clearly to fellow engineers, maintains positive outlook in the face of challenge.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading development of conversational AI products.
