$100,000.00 - $163,000.00

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support innovative initiatives within the Branch Technology AI Solutions team. This role will contribute to the development, enhancement, and deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions that leverage AI and modern engineering practices.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables within specialized engineering environments.
- Participate in large-scale strategic planning and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and document software for projects and programs within the technology domain, including upgrades and new deployments.
- Review and assess moderately complex technical challenges requiring deep understanding of tools, technologies, and procedures.
- Resolve technical issues and guide a team to meet existing or emerging client needs while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional partners, and mid-level leadership to address challenges and drive successful outcomes.
- Lead project efforts, act as an escalation resource, and provide mentorship and direction to less experienced engineers.
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 4+ years of experience developing single-page applications using Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, or Bootstrap or similar.
- 1+ year of experience working with Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or other machine learning domains.
- 1+ year of experience working with one or more of the following: GCP, Azure, or OpenShift.
- Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of secure coding standards and enterprise-level application security principles.
- Proficiency in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Contributions to open-source projects in AI or software engineering domains.
- Experience working in the financial services industry.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
