We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our talented leadership team to help lead the delivery of Specialty products within the Independent Agent channel in Products Technology. This position is responsible for the enablement and maturity growth of organizational agility of all the teams in their aligned program/portfolio. Influences the organization (IT, Business, Architecture, Security, etc.) that interact with the teams in the program/portfolio they support to enable more effective flow of value for the organization. Demonstrates situational and self-awareness to know whether/when/how to respond to various environmental issues that will affect a team/program/portfolio/organization`s ability to operate in a Lean-Agile manner. Responsible for the professional/knowledge growth of less experienced SM`s and contributing to the overall agility subject matter expertise in the organization. Joins forces with other Sr. Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches working together to help the organization mature on the path towards business agility. Draws from vast experience in a variety of different contexts and leverages ideas from several disciplines, patterns and techniques to address gaps, solve problems, innovate and improve the environment their program/portfolio operates in.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Responsibilities
- Effective facilitation skills at the program and team level; Remains neutral, applies conflict management and establishes trust
- Is comfortable having difficult conversations, identifying and overcoming program obstacles and challenges that arise internally or from cross-domain areas
- Coaches and mentors other SMs, managers, and POs to improve both their own and others' knowledge and skills
- Acts as an advisor in growing others' Lean-Agile teaching skills. Develops & delivers training on a variety of Lean-Agile frameworks/scaling methods
- Develops a network of change agents to promote change and manage resistance to change
- Surfaces & works with key stakeholders to address anti-patterns that impede organizational agility
- Ensures proper transparency and visibility into dependencies and risks
- Guides and drives the implementation of a scaling framework for teams to optimize value delivery in a single program or value stream
- Stays current with Agility industry trends and explores other perspectives by reading and contributing to blogs, consuming external media and actively participating in internal/external Scrum/Agile events
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.) and at least 6 years of IT and program management and experience working in an Agile team, including coaching on Lean-Agile approaches; Minimum of 8 years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience leading multiple agile teams through large scale transformation(s)
- Experience with defining and implementing standards
- Thorough knowledge of US Retail Markets business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives preferred
- Knowledge/training equivalent to advanced/2nd level certifications from a reputable Lean-Agile organization is a plus but not required (PSM II, ICAgile Professional Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), ICAgile Professional, Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC))
- Scrum certification preferred
- Experience working in a scaled agile framework preferred
