At SailPoint, the Community and Education team is on a mission to grow identity security skills to meet the increasing demand for talent in the identity security industry. Reporting to the Training and Certification Development Senior Manager, we are seeking a strategic, results-driven Program Manager to own the training and certification content roadmap, define learning experience development priorities, and set the direction for industry-aligned training and certification programs. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally with Product Management, SMEs, Learning Architects, Learning Experience Operations, Training Delivery, and GTM teams to deliver effective, high-quality, learner-centric, digital-first education for the identity security industry and for SailPoint’s dynamic SaaS and software product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
· Scale and mature Training and Certification Learning Programs, applying agile product development best practices and methodologies to the content roadmap, design, and development processes.
· Own the overall training and certification development roadmap, deciding training path, course, exam, and modality priorities to maximize industry influence and business impact.
· Lead research on the talent market for identity security professionals, understanding which job roles and skills are most critical for our customers and partners.
· Build relationships with Product Management, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support to determine product training needs and customer adoption gaps and identify subject matter experts for content development efforts.
· Expand and transform our portfolio from instructor-led to digital-first training, and from product-based to role-based training and certification.
· Own and document development plans for training paths, courses, and exams, defining business goals and learner-centric educational objectives, in collaboration with Learning Architects.
· Operationalize our Learning Experience quality and effectiveness standards and processes and drive the development process in collaboration with subject matter experts, Learning Architects, and Learning Experience Operations.
· Manage stakeholder relationships and align priorities, timelines and hand-offs with Learning Experience Operations, LMS Administration, Training Delivery, and GTM Teams.
· Establish Training and Certification Program success metrics and lead quarterly business reviews to continuously improve processes, communications, and tools to ensure delivery of high-quality education at scale, on time, and on budget.
· Build thought leadership on Learning Experience development best practices to drive program innovation and increased quality, scale, and efficiency.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in learning experience design and content development focused on customer training and certification, program management, or product development.
· Data-driven, results-oriented program leader with experience establishing and executing on roadmaps, timelines, program plans, and success metrics.
· Exceptional operational skills with a keen understanding of how to build and optimize programs and processes in alignment with business goals and use technology to improve scale, efficiency, and productivity.
· Business-driven decision-maker and problem-solver skilled at managing competing priorities and risks, while balancing stakeholder needs and deadlines.
· Strong track record of working collaboratively across global organizations and effective stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
· Continuous learning mindset with a drive to self-develop, adapt, and stay informed on the latest training and certification industry trends and best practices.
· An aptitude for developing subject matter expertise on the identity security talent market and emerging, in-demand jobs and skills.
Preferred:
· Experience managing digital-first, technical training design and development for a SaaS technology company.
· Experience with agile product development best practices and methodologies.
· Thought leadership in Learning Experience Design best practices.
· Familiarity with learning and development technologies and tools, including rapid development tools such as Articulate, project management tools such as Asana, Confluence, and production tools such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud
· Knowledgeable on developing Professional Certification programs.
· Previous experience in Identity Security, Identity and Access Management, or Identity Governance and Administration, a plus.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$101,300 - $144,700 - $188,100Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
