Join a team shaping the future of innovative healthcare technology. As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead high-impact programs that advance our medical device portfolio, elevate product performance, strengthen product quality & compliance, and deliver meaningful outcomes for patients and providers worldwide.
Your role:
- Lead large, complex programs that drive product development, lifecycle management, and global execution across multiple medical device portfolios.
- Develop and implement program and portfolio strategies that improve design efficiency, operational scalability, and product performance across global teams and manufacturing sites.
- Own all program elements—including scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, and risk management—ensuring alignment with business needs, customer expectations, and R&D objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, operations, quality, marketing) to streamline processes, improve quality, and ensure successful delivery of next-generation medical device solutions.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through clear communication of program progress, challenges, priorities, and strategic recommendations.
- Champion best-in-class program management practices, fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across the organization.
You are the right fit if:
- You have 7+ years of experience leading large-scale programs or portfolios within medical devices, healthcare technology, or product development in a matrixed organization.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s in Engineering, Science, or related field preferred). PMP certification is a plus.
- You have demonstrated success driving complex product initiatives and enabling cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes.
- You understand medical device product development processes, including design, engineering, quality systems, manufacturing, and commercialization.
- You have strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar).
- You excel at navigating complexity, influencing diverse teams, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (Murrysville, PA or Plymouth, MA) is $124,000 to $199,000.00
The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA) is $139,000 to $223,000.00
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
