Company Overview

Our mission is to illuminate and accelerate global work. To do this, we’ve built an industry-leading time tracking and workforce management platform for remote and distributed teams.

We were an early believer in the remote work movement and have been 100% remote from day one—over a decade ago. With a focus on transparency and accountability, our software provides powerful insights into how work gets done.

Today, our platform supports time and activity tracking, shift and schedule management, invoicing, and payments for more than 95,000 businesses worldwide. But we’re still early in our journey.

We believe remote work represents the most significant shift in how businesses operate since the advent of the PC—and that most companies will rely on tools like Hubstaff as core infrastructure in the coming decade. We have strong momentum, a high-ownership culture, and ambitious goals, and we’re looking for people who want to help shape what comes next.

The Role

As a Senior Product Manager on the Partnerships team, you will own product initiatives that expand our go-to-market reach and customer value through strategic partnerships.

This is a core product role with a strong external and ecosystem lens. You will work closely with our Director of Partnerships and PartnerOps team to identify, validate, and execute product opportunities across integrations, marketplaces, referrals, resellers, and other partner-driven growth channels.

You’ll collaborate day-to-day with engineering, design, and data to ship high-impact product capabilities, while also spending significant time understanding partner workflows, customer needs, adjacent tools, and market opportunities. Success in this role requires both strong product execution and the ability to think holistically about how products enable distribution, adoption, and expansion.

You’ll also partner closely with the CPO and broader product leadership team to ensure these initiatives align with our long-term product vision and business strategy.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own product strategy and execution for partnership-related initiatives within your product area

  • Translate partnership goals and GTM opportunities into clear product bets, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes

  • Balance short-term partner needs with long-term platform scalability and product vision

Partner & Customer Discovery

  • Develop a deep understanding of partner types (integrations, marketplaces, resellers, referrals) and how customers use Hubstaff alongside adjacent tools

  • Conduct discovery with partners and customers to identify high-leverage workflows, integration points, and expansion opportunities

  • Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions with a product-first mindset

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Partnerships, PartnerOps, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure product initiatives support GTM execution

  • Partner with engineering and design to define problems clearly, explore solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes

  • Act as the product owner for partnership-driven initiatives from concept through launch and iteration

Execution & Delivery

  • Create clear product requirements, technical specifications, and success metrics for engineering teams

  • Own the roadmap for your area and ensure consistent delivery against priorities

  • Manage tradeoffs thoughtfully, with an understanding of both customer impact and business value

Metrics & Impact

  • Define and track OKRs related to partner adoption, usage, revenue impact, and customer value

  • Use data and qualitative insights to evaluate success and inform iteration

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve scale, reliability, and leverage across the partner ecosystem

Team & Process

  • Contribute to improving product management practices across the team

  • Mentor and support other PMs through collaboration and knowledge sharing

What You Should Have
  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping complex B2B SaaS products

  • Proven experience taking products from ideation through launch and iteration

  • Strong customer empathy and a track record of discovery-driven product development

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and GTM teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs clearly

  • High degree of ownership, self-direction, and comfort operating in ambiguity

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution

  • Experience with B2B SaaS platforms and familiarity with partnerships, integrations, or platform ecosystems

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform product decisions

Nice to Have
  • Direct experience working with partnerships, platform, or ecosystem teams

  • Experience building integrations, APIs, or marketplace-style products

  • Strong SQL skills or experience working closely with analytics teams

  • Experience supporting up-market customers or enterprise-adjacent workflows

  • Exposure to global payments, contractor management, or workforce tools

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.
