About the Role:

Otsuka is seeking an individual that is excited to work in a high-priority role designed to support a new product launch in ADHD, the first for Otsuka in this therapeutic area.

The Senior Product Manager, HCP Marketing ADHD will be responsible for HCP Personal and Non-Personal (NPP) / Omnichannel strategic pull through and tactical implementation of marketing programs. This individual will report to the Director, HCP Marketing Lead.

This position requires a highly motivated individual that can work efficiently with Functional Area partners to ensure strategic alignment and accomplish complex deliverables (i.e. HCP launch readiness resources, NPP planning and execution, brand communications, etc.). This individual must also be able to cultivate new innovative approaches to reach and motivate prescribers and key stakeholders within specialty and PCP settings around disease state and brand indication messages. In addition, we are looking for a team member that is passionate about bringing their skills to one of the largest unmet needs in mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead HCP marketing promotional tactics and work collaboratively with our internal and external partners to translate the HCP strategic narrative and direction into tactical execution of Personal & Non-Personal/Omnichannel promotion to meet business objectives, milestones, and KPIs.

  • Partner with market research and analytics to understand and implement metrics to gain market insights and measure key leading and lagging KPI’s on brand HCP marketing initiatives and programs.
  • As an example of a key deliverable, this individual will be accountable to lead and utilize findings from behind the glass market research to inform an effective and optimized field sales aid.
  • Additionally, this individual will take a lead position in launching and optimizing a DSE (Disease State Education) website and associated NPP and peer-to-peer tactics for a new product launch
  • Respectful Collaboration with Functional Area teams and HCP strategic partners (e.g. agencies, stakeholder organizations) to ensure aligned strategic responsibility in commercialization activities within timelines for a flawless launch and continued growth of the brand for HCP promotion.
  • Serve as Centanafadine ambassador to the field teams during meetings and execute with clear communication the brand objectives/tactics and seek feedback to improve marketing tactics to maintain a highly motivated customer field team.
  • Work closely with the base business to integrate the Centanafadine HCP promotional strategy to ensure the maximal success and growth of the overall CNS portfolio.
  • Ensure that the marketing processes, programs, materials, and internal reports are implemented, and effectively administered to be consistent with corporate guidance and all medical, regulatory, legal, and guidelines.
  • Manage programs and agency costs within the HCP annual budget while maximizing innovation and ROI effectiveness of resources and funds for HCP promotion tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Successful candidates should have at least 6 years of US pharmaceutical HCP Marketing and/or sales experience
  • Knowledge of HCP promotion and digital marketing
  • Experience with promotional review approval process
  • Up to 30% travel is required, based upon business needs.

Preferred:

  • M.B.A
  • Prior brand marketing launch experience
  • Experience/knowledge of ADHD Space
  • Sales and/or sales training experience
  • Experience with HCP digital marketing and omnichannel approach
  • Demonstrated ability in strategically thinking and problem solving, accountability for results, respectful collaboration, impactful communication, and customer centricity.
  • Strong project/process management skills combined with managing multiple tasks with effective prioritization among internal (including Alliance) and external partners.
  • Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations.

Minimum $146,955.00 - Maximum $210,100.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting salary for candidates hired to perform the work. Other elements may be used to determine actual salary such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
