What you'll be doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs
• Collaborating with front-end developers, working with databases, and optimizing application performance and scalability
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle. This includes:
• Reading through 3rd party documentation thoroughly as needed
• Troubleshooting issues - analyzing logs, debugging, deep-diving into how a mechanism works
• Write clean code with thorough test coverage
• Participate in code reviews
• Contribute to architecture discussions
• Effectively communicate across teams including: Engineering, Product, Design, Implementations and Support
• Provide guidance and technical support to team members

What we need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training
• Strong proficiency in Go
• Familiarity with standard platforms/architectures/procedures including: RESTful APIs, Web Sockets, Micro/Macroservices, Database systems (SQL databases such as Postgres as well as Graph databases such as neo4j), Git proficiency
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are also essential
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Building large-scale distributed systems

Salary Range: $105,000- $156,000
