Pay Range

$92,600.00-$127,400.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.   Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

About Us: Johns Manville is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Product Engineer in our Engineered Products (EP) group. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between product development R&D and manufacturing, specifically supporting our fiber glass market. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Development: Drive new product and process development from R&D to manufacturing scale-up.
  • Customer Solutions: Address and resolve customer product issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze product data to identify improvement opportunities and lead projects to implement them.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical service to both internal teams and customers for existing and new products.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor technologies and product platforms.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering or chemistry; chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years in the glass fibers industry preferred.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong RCCA experience and the ability to translate complex technical needs into robust products.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong project management skills.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills to interact with various departments and customers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and proficiency with MS Office Suite & Minitab.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work in a production environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

Additional Information:

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Typical of a production facility.
  • Quality Management: Experience supporting an ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  • Travel: Approximately 20% travel required.
