Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. PMO Manager to lead and manage our team of project managers, driving the maturation of our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT operations, cloud migrations, enterprise applications, and portfolio management, with at least 15 years of experience in the field. This role requires a strong leader who can deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Oversee and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring effective project delivery and professional growth.
Drive the maturation of project management practices within the organization.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Project and Portfolio Oversight:
Develop and implement project plans, including resource and budgetary needs.
Host regular project meetings with team members and stakeholders.
Provide feedback, advice, and project updates to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Strategically manage the project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Evaluate, prioritize, and optimize projects to maximize value and efficiency.
Risk Management and Solutions:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across projects and the portfolio.
Develop and implement solutions to address project-related issues and risks.
Ensure proactive risk management practices are in place to minimize potential disruptions.
Dependency Management:
Identify and manage dependencies within and across projects at the portfolio level.
Ensure effective coordination and communication between interdependent projects to maintain progress and quality.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize extensive experience in IT operations, cloud migrations, and enterprise applications to guide project execution.
Ensure projects align with organizational goals and technical requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Address and resolve project-related issues and risks promptly.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance project management capabilities.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT operations, cloud migrations, enterprise applications, and portfolio management.
Proven track record of leading and managing project teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software and tools. (MSFT Project, Service Now Strategic Porfilio Management (SPM), MSFT Suite (Excel/PPT/Word/Outlook/Teams/SharePoint)
Salary: $150K - $170K + Bonus
