You will combine strong campaign leadership with a deep understanding of customer journeys, value proposition development, and content strategy within the life sciences sector. Working closely with Product Management, Commercial, Scientific, and Regional Marketing teams, you will develop customer-centric campaigns and content that strengthen ProBio's market position, communicate product value, and support business growth. This role requires the ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and deliver complex initiatives with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Leadership

  • Own the development and execution of annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned to business priorities and commercial goals within designated segments.
  • Lead complex, integrated, multi-channel campaigns from strategy and planning through execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Translate corporate, commercial, and product strategies into marketing programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Independently manage campaign plans, budgets, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and performance tracking.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Commercial, Product Management, Scientific SMEs, Regional Marketing teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Present campaign strategies, recommendations, and performance insights to senior leadership.

Customer Insights & Value Proposition Development

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, buying behaviours, decision-making processes, and market dynamics.
  • Map customer journeys and ensure marketing activities support customers at each stage of the buying process.
  • Partner with Product Management and Commercial teams to translate customer needs and technical capabilities into compelling value propositions, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Leverage market insights, customer feedback, and performance data to continuously refine strategy and positioning.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop content strategies that support demand generation, thought leadership, brand awareness, and customer engagement goals.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Commercial teams, and scientific SMEs to create customer-focused content across channels.
  • Ensure messaging consistency, brand alignment, and content relevance throughout the customer journey.
  • Champion ProBio's value proposition across campaigns, content, and customer touchpoints.

Performance & Optimization

  • Define KPIs and success metrics for campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign, funnel, and engagement performance to optimize outcomes and maximize ROI.
  • Provide recommendations based on performance data, customer insights, and market trends.
  • Partner with digital marketing teams to continuously improve customer experience and demand generation effectiveness.

Qualification:

  • 7+ years' experience in B2B marketing, campaign marketing, product marketing, or content marketing, preferably within life sciences, biotechnology, CDMO, or related industries.
  • Proven success leading complex, integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver measurable commercial results.
  • Strong strategic planning and project leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Demonstrated experience building customer journeys, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for technical or scientific products and services.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across commercial, product, scientific, and leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and insights to optimize marketing performance.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Experience working with scientific subject matter experts and within a regulated industry is highly desirable.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
