What We Need:

As Synapse Health continues to expand its network of payer and health system partnerships, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Market Implementation Project Manager to lead complex, multi-state partner launches and high-impact strategic initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring new partnerships are implemented seamlessly, efficiently, and in alignment with Synapse Health’s operational, technical, and regulatory standards.

Reporting to the SVP, Solutions & Implementations, the Sr. Market Implementation Project Manager serves as a senior execution leader—owning end-to-end implementation planning, driving cross-functional alignment, and proactively managing risk across initiatives. This role partners closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders to translate business objectives into executable plans and deliver results that exceed expectations.

This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments, brings structure to complexity, and confidently influences without direct authority.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and lead end-to-end project management for new payer and health system partner launches, including complex, multi-state implementations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Network, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to define scope, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive implementation plans, project timelines, risk logs, and communication strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for implementation execution, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Lead ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear status updates, managing expectations, and driving alignment.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies; lead resolution efforts with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Evaluate and manage scope changes, assess business and operational impacts, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Analyze implementation performance data and synthesize insights into executive-ready reporting and business cases.
  • Identify gaps in processes, workflows, or tools; drive the development, documentation, and communication of scalable solutions.
  • Partner with IT and Operations teams to enable system enhancements, process improvements, and operational readiness.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions, translating insights into continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
  • Contribute to the refinement of implementation frameworks, templates, and governance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of strategic priorities.

What You Have:

At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in implementation management, project management, or program management (required).
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in healthcare or other highly regulated environments (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the DME industry, health plan operations, or provider networks (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn job-specific systems and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior and executive stakeholders.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Analytical Thinker: Able to distill complex data and information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Execution-Focused: Balances strategic thinking with disciplined attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Highly Organized: Skilled at prioritizing work, managing dependencies, and adjusting plans as conditions evolve.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Anticipates challenges, surfaces risks early, and drives solutions forward.
  • Influential Communicator: Effectively tailors messaging to diverse audiences and builds alignment across teams and partners.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $75,200 – $94,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions.
