About The Team
CoverMyMeds’ Strategic Product Capabilities (SPC) team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Management to lead product strategy and execution for our Benefits Platform, medical plan connectivity initiatives, and shared organizational capabilities. Our SPC team is a collaborative group of product-minded problem solvers focused on platform capabilities that power multiple business units, medical plan connectivity, and expanding CoverMyMeds’ access solutions into specialty. Together with our various business units, the work our SPC team does ultimately helps people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives.
What You’ll Do
As a Sr. Manager, Product Management your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:
Owns and drives the product strategy for the cBenefits Platform—a shared capability that serves multiple CoverMyMeds business units—ensuring it evolves to meet enterprise-wide needs while balancing competing stakeholder priorities
Leads medical plan connectivity strategy, including managing integration partnerships with health plans, understanding plan-specific workflows and requirements, and expanding connectivity to support medical benefit prior authorization
Builds and maintains strong cross-functional relationships across Commercial, Operations, Product Suites, and Technology teams, proactively identifying opportunities where platform capabilities can deliver value to other business units
Deeply understands provider workflows and the end-to-end prior authorization experience, using that knowledge to inform product decisions that reduce friction for healthcare providers and their staff
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess product needs and implement solutions across multiple tech stacks, stakeholders, and networks—driving for significant impact in areas of increased complexity, scale, and scope
Uses influence to align teams around product direction and shared capability priorities; navigates ambiguity and leads conflict resolution when platform and business unit roadmaps compete for resources or diverge in direction
Manages and develops a team of product managers, translating organizational and functional strategy into clear team goals while fostering an environment of engagement, ownership, and professional growth
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Critical Skills
Product management experience (7-9 years) with technical product development methodologies (e.g., Agile), ideally in healthcare or a similarly regulated environment
Experience (7-9 years) managing platform or shared-capability products that serve internal teams or multiple business units, including navigating competing priorities and defining scalable solutions
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across organizational boundaries—especially with commercial, operations, and technology teams—to align on shared goals and drive outcomes
Strong understanding of provider-facing workflows and the operational realities of healthcare practices, clinics, or health systems
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of payer operations, benefit structures (pharmacy and medical), and prior authorization processes
Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, X12, HL7) or payer connectivity and integration work
Background in B2B2C or multi-sided platform product management, where you balanced the needs of multiple customer segments (e.g., providers, payers, biopharma)
P&L or financial management experience, including pricing strategy, deal support, or managing product-level financials
Track record of identifying whitespace opportunities by engaging across the business and translating them into product initiatives with measurable impact
