The Role

Do you enjoy solving complex, real-time problems where technology, markets, and business intersect? We are seeking a Sr Manager to join the Equity Product and Trading Solutions team at FCM. In this role, you will help drive the development and evolution of our core electronic trading platform, including order management and routing, FIX connectivity, data, and risk controls. The primary purpose of this role is to take part in driving and shaping the firm’s electronic trading infrastructure and be accountable for the entire product life cycle from planning to implementation and adoption.  As an integral member of the product team, you will work closely with technology, trading consultants, operations, risk, compliance, legal, data science, and other internal partners to deliver resilient, scalable, and differentiated electronic trading solutions

  • Strong understanding of the technical and operational components and workflows associated with electronic equity trading
  • Proven ability to act as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams
  • Self-starter who embraces pace over perfection and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented, positive, and forward-thinking, with a passion for building innovative trading solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with electronic equity trading concepts and market structure (a plus, not required)
  • Intellectually curious, with a strong desire for continuous learning
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months of hire

The Product and Trading solutions mission is to build resilient, automated trading products that create a frictionless client experience, power new business opportunities, and manage risk for responsible, scalable growth. A best-in-class trading infrastructure and superior risk management capabilities are critical to delivering an exceptional client experience.  Our team designs and builds the capabilities that power clients’ unique trading needs, while also delivering the tools internal teams require to support order flow efficiently, reliably, and at scale.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-155,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
