Shield AI is seeking a dynamic Marketing Strategy, Operations, and Analytics leader who will build the function from scratch and help the Marketing leadership team run a highly efficient and effective organization. This person is a first principles thinker and problem solver who relishes the challenge of working on new problems every day in a fast-paced hypergrowth environment. They are comfortable working with different levels of leadership from the C-level to individual contributors, and they’re especially comfortable rolling up their sleeves to build.
What you'll do:
- Own planning and governance for the Marketing function at Shield AI
- Work alongside the VP of Marketing Strategy and Operations and the rest of the Marketing leadership team to define annual/quarterly operating plans, define metrics and set targets, allocate budgets, etc.
- Work with the entire Marketing organization to track progress against goals and ensure high fidelity between budget plans and actuals
- Work with cross-functional partners in BD Ops, Product, and the Office of the CEO to ensure that Marketing priorities and investments are aligned with other teams across the company Own executive decision support for the Marketing organization Work with the Marketing leadership team to define, scope, and analyze key questions for the Marketing function
- Lead the preparation of BoD materials and E-team materials on behalf of Marketing
- Lead one-off analyses for key questions posed by E-team Partner with Marketing Operations to co-own analytics infrastructure for Marketing
- Develop data pipelines and data warehouse infrastructure that will serve as the basis for all Marketing analytics workstreams at Shield AI
- Work with the Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, and Marketing Operations teams to define and instrument metrics across the Marketing funnel iHire (United States) Build a team of talented and high achieving strategy and operations professionals globally as Shield AI grows and scale
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of strategy and operations experience spanning strategy consulting / corporate strategy, Marketing strategy / Product operations. Diverse experience in B2B AND B2C contexts is preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on analytics experience (SQL, ETL pipelines, dashboard tools) is required
- 3+ years of team management experience preferred
- 2+ years of working directly with C-level executives preferred
- Hands-on experience building analytics infrastructure and using SQL for custom data pulls is required.
- Experience with Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Marketo, Google Looker Studio / Tableau, http://Salesforce.com is preferred
- Proven track record of using AI in appropriate scenarios with measurable impact
- Proven success building and scaling global operational teams
