About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Building Launch will serve as a leader of multiple projects including launch of pharmacies and fulfillment centers to include new sites, and renovations.  This position requires close collaboration with launch partners across various cross-functional teams.  They are a highly organized individual with an understanding of all aspects of a project in addition to solid project management skills. In addition to project execution, the Senior Manager, Building Launch will also create and maintain all relevant project documentation such as project plans, presentations, dashboards, spreadsheets, trackers, etc. This includes detailed follow-up after launch, robust lessons learned analysis, and continuous improvement of the launch process. The ideal candidate will combine deep operational expertise with strong program management skills to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.  

You Will:
  • Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with various departments like R & D, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and coordination

  • Timeline Management: Monitor and manage project timelines, identify critical paths, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time launch by identifying gaps and potential impact to timelines

  • Change Management: Ensure smooth transitions from pre-launch (engineering) to launch (operations) and through production ramp

  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively

  • Production Readiness & Performance Qualification: Supports readiness reviews, including process validation and equipment qualification

  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that arise during the launch process

  • Post-Launch Analysis: Analyze the results of the launch to identify areas for improvement in future launches

You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering) is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience may be considered

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical compounding, manufacturing, fulfillment, or a related operational environment

  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams in a fast-paced, regulated setting

  • Proficiency in interpreting and understanding construction CAD drawings to ensure accurate execution of design specifications and project compliance

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools. Strong knowledge of USP 795, USP 800, cGMP, OSHA, and FDA regulations

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing production needs, and work effectively under pressure

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, and bending

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both local and internationally
