About Taskrabbit:

Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform that conveniently connects people with Taskers to handle everyday home to-do’s, such as furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, and much more.

At Taskrabbit, we want to transform lives one task at a time. As a company we celebrate innovation, inclusion and hard work. Our culture is collaborative, pragmatic, and fast-paced. We’re looking for talented, entrepreneurially minded and data-driven people who also have a passion for helping people do what they love. Together with IKEA, we’re creating more opportunities for people to earn a consistent, meaningful income on their own terms by building lasting relationships with clients in communities around the world.

Taskrabbit is a hybrid company with employees distributed across the US and EU and a Built In — Best Places to Work (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) continually ranked across multiple national and regional categories. Join us at Taskrabbit, where your work will be meaningful, your ideas valued, and your potential unleashed!

This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week. The position can be based in either our San Francisco office or our new New York City office.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Brand & Content to help build and scale Taskrabbit’s brand and content engine. This role will play a critical part in shaping how Taskrabbit shows up to clients, Taskers, partners marketing across channels, translating our brand platform into a cohesive, always-on content system that drives awareness, engagement, and long-term demand.

This is more than a traditional content role. You will define what we say, how often we show up, and how our narrative comes to life across marketing channels. You will work cross-functionally with Creative, PR, Social, Growth, CRM, SEO, and regional teams to ensure we are delivering consistent, high-quality storytelling that resonates with our audiences and supports business growth.

This role sits at the center of Taskrabbit’s next phase of growth. As we invest in building a scalable brand and a cross-channel content engine, this person will help define how we show up in the world—ensuring we are not just driving demand, but building a brand customers recognize, trust, and choose over time.

Responsibilities

Own the Content Strategy & Narrative

  • Develop and evolve Taskrabbit’s global content strategy and editorial calendar, anchored in brand positioning, key service category insights, and life moments
  • Define clear content pillars, including tone, proof-point hierarchy, and "when to lead with what" guidelines, that balance functional authority with emotional storytelling
  • Translate the brand platform into a scalable content system across channels, audiences, and target demographics
  • Ensure content is consistent, connected, and reinforcing a unified narrative

Build the Messaging Architecture and Manage a Cross-Channel Content Engine

  • Translate brand positioning into a full messaging hierarchy including core narrative, category-level proof points, audience-specific value props (Client vs. Tasker vs. Partner, by category and life moment) so all teams are pulling from the same architecture
  • Own the message map as a living document; as new categories, markets, or partnerships (IKEA, Wayfair) come online, extend the architecture for teams to leverage
  • Partner with channel leads to adapt content for platform-specific formats and audiences, maintaining always-on content programming
  • Partner with SEO/AEO teams to align content strategy with high-intent search and AI discovery opportunities; ensure content supports both human engagement and structured, search-friendly formats

Champion the Brand through Campaign Development

  • Develop and manage end-to-end process for larger campaigns and brand moments
  • Generate campaign concepts: bring point-of-view ideas to Brand Marketing and Creative leadership rooted in cultural moments, category insights, or customer triggers
  • Prototype and pitch multiple campaign directions per quarter (a hook, a proof point, a channel plan), shortening the gap between "we should say something about X" and an executable brief

Partner with Creative to Scale Production

  • Work closely with Creative to brief and develop content formats that can scale (video, social, editorial, etc.)
  • Help define repeatable formats and systems that enable high-quality, high-volume output
  • Contribute to evolving AI-enabled creative workflows to increase efficiency and speed

Measurement and Optimization

  • Define success metrics for content strategy and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scale what works, and evolve what doesn’t
  • Analyze performance across channels and continuously refine content strategy based on insights and evolving business needs
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in content strategy, brand marketing, or editorial roles
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate brand positioning into actionable content systems
  • Experience managing cross-channel content (social, video, CRM, PR, or editorial)
  • Proven ability to build and scale content programs, not just execute campaigns
  • Deep understanding of how content performs across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, growth, and product teams
  • Strong storytelling instincts with a balance of creative taste and analytical rigor
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and building new systems from the ground up
  • Experience building messaging architecture / message maps that multiple teams can consistently execute against
  • A track record of originating campaign ideas (not just briefing them); can point to concepts they conceived and got greenlit
  • Quick thinker who is comfortable presenting rough concepts to leadership and iterating in the room
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience in marketplace, consumer tech, or home/lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with SEO/AEO and content for search and AI-driven discovery
  • Experience working with creators or influencer programs
  • Exposure to AI tools for content development and production
  • Proficient with Asana or other project management tools
