* Job Summary
* The Senior Managed Services Solution Architect (SMSA) is a field-based technical pre-sales role that focuses on developing comprehensive managed services solutions for CDW customers. This role involves providing consultative guidance, scoping service offerings, and fostering strategic relationships to drive business growth. In this role you will be working with customers, delivery, and internal sales teams to develop and maintain strategic relationships and be a trusted advisor to grow our Managed services business.

* Develop appropriate service solutions for CDW customers, including analysis, technical scoping and support for appropriate managed services offerings.
* Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to offer consultative guidance, plan sales strategy, to provide quotations and technical response for Request for Proposal (RFP's) Request for Quote (RFQ's), Request for Information (RFI's), standard proposals, and author statements of work (SOWs).
* Costing and pricing of managed services opportunities to meet managed services business goals including gathering customer key metrics to scope and price.
* Analyze technical and competitive considerations, defining actions to meet customer requirements in the sales cycle and through a consultative approach provides enhanced business outcomes beyond initial customer expectations.
* Maintain strategic relationships with Customers, Internal Sales & Delivery management, acting as a trusted advisor to drive business growth.
* Practice ownership of your assigned territory and/or client based by establishing a regular cadence with partners/customers and assisting Sales with territory strategy planning.
* Act as a subject matter expert in multiple families of services and solutions including for 50% managed services offerings.
* Assists and monitors many opportunities of varying complexity
* Works with resource coordinators/managers of delivery to ensure that appropriate quantity and quality of technical and services resources are deployed for engagements.
* Lead outreach initiatives, technical enablement projects, coaching, and mentoring for other MSAs.
* Assist delivery leaders new offering development from a technical perspective
* Develops content to effectively train coworkers in formal trainings as well as team huddles.
* Acquire and maintain relevant technology and industry certifications as required.
* What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's Degree and or equivalent experience a minimum of five years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role, OR 9 years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role. Motivated, self-starting, and able to independently perform high quality work with minimal guidance. Industry knowledge and domain expertise: An SMSA should possess domain expertise. They should understand industry-specific challenges, regulations, and best practices. They should have a deep understanding of the architecture, products, technologies, and solutions offered by the company. This knowledge enables them to provide tailored recommendations and position the company's solutions effectively within the industry landscape. Areas of Expertise specific to this role includes: Team collaboration and leadership: Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales and delivery, is crucial in this role.
