Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications with backend services using Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java, while leveraging AWS for deployment.
We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java. Additionally, the candidate must have hands-on experience with AWS and be located in one of the specified countries.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust fullstack applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Implement backend services and APIs using Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java.
- Develop frontend components and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
- Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve existing solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java.
- Strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be located in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Chile, Uruguay, or Peru
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of DevOps practices.
