The Financial Transactions team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support both new and ongoing initiatives across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by combining strong transactional accounting expertise with project management and process improvement capabilities.
In this position, you will:
- Lead and support key financial projects, driving initiatives from concept through execution
- Serve as the owner of reporting processes, delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial data
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted partner, collaborating across Finance and enterprise teams
- Identify and implement process improvements, including leveraging AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, values continuous improvement, and is passionate about driving operational excellence while maintaining high standards of quality.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting or partnering with Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday, Facets, or similar platforms
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements or automation initiatives, including exposure to AI-enabled tools
Note:
- This is a remote position, however, periodic in-person meetings may be required, so candidates within 50 miles of the Chattanooga office are preferred.

Job Responsibilities
- Managing the distribution of tasks to junior staff as appropriate to their development and to the satisfaction of the needs of the organization.
- Providing generic financial planning, investment, forecasting and/or budgeting and control functions for the organization.
- Managing the organization's tax filing and governmental reporting activities.
- Performing finance, investment and/or accounting functions for the organization, including record keeping and reporting.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or related field required
Experience
- 5 years - Work experience in an accounting/financial position is required.
- 1 year - Experience with automated financial systems and database retrieval
Skills\Certifications
- Attention to detail, exceptional documentation abilities, and organizational skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills and ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Capacity to solve problems and manage multiple assignments with critical deadlines
- Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
- Solid math skills and understanding of financial/accounting theory
