WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Global Finance is a valuable contributor to our dynamic and entrepreneurial Global Partners Finance team. You will help manage Converse’s distributor and licensee business models across our European Marketplace. In this role, you will work closely with partners worldwide and support complex business and financial models. You will be part of a team that prides itself on being financially disciplined, transformational and insight-driven.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in financial modeling, along with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- Minimum of three years of relevant finance experience including strategic planning, investment analysis, economic profit analysis, accounting and budgeting
- Advanced Excel Proficiency and familiarity with tools like SAP, BI and Tableau
- Experience in retail, manufacturing or at a Fortune 500, along with knowledge of emerging markets and licensee/distributor business models is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment with strong communication skills for complex and high-impact financial discussions
- Process and detail-oriented mindset with a strategic approach, a passion for continuous learning and the ability to manage multiple priorities professionally
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the core financial planning and reporting processes that are the basis for management decision-making and directly impact the financial performance of the Global Partners region. As our most complex marketplace for Converse, the Sr. Financial Analyst, Global Partners will deliver insightful business analysis through the development and maintenance of dynamic financial models to influence management strategies in our pursuit of brand accretive growth across some of the world’s most volatile emerging markets.
A successful candidate will bring a highly analytical, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset to the role to drive the following:
- End-to-end leadership of monthly financial planning processes including monthly deliverables and in-year financial forecasts
- Build and maintain out-year financial models that allow Global Partners and Converse to support accurate quarterly and annual target projections
- Support disciplined distributor and strategic account pricing analysis, focusing on partner margins, market pricing and growth potential
- Analyze partner financial reports to assess viability and commercial success
- Develop and manage user-friendly dashboards with timely, insightful metrics for decision making as well as to present financial performance and analysis to Global Partners and Finance leadership
- Collaborate with Global, Geo and partner teams to manage SG&A, validate financial data and drive process improvements for automation and efficiency
- Help to identify process improvements to streamline and automate processes across Global Partners
