EXTERNAL JOB TITLE:

Sr. Financial Analyst, Business Unit FP&A

 

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Role reports to AVP, Business Unit FP&A.
  2. Develops and consolidates financial and operational analysis used in driving business decisions. Prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports, staffing models, and expense analysis for business partners including leadership.
  3. Develops financial trend analysis and summaries of results/drivers. Creates variance analysis reports and multi-dimensional financial models. Escalates any financial issues to management.
  4. Leads real-time financial performance monitoring and develops root cause analysis and gap closure plans when results are not meeting planned expectations. Monitors expenses against expectations and/or plan and provides suggestions for improvement for those not tracking to expectations.
  5. Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting working with AVP, Business Unit FP&A.
  6. Prepares analysis and content used in the development of monthly and quarterly reporting for business leaders and executive management or Board meeting presentations, as applicable.
  7. Uses financial systems for planning, forecasting, analysis, etc. as needed. Serves as key user of SAP.
  8. Collaborates, coordinates and communicates across disciplines and departments.
  9. Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. Demonstrates Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

Preferred Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:


JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with a preferred major in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in Healthcare/Healthtech or Technology and experience in large companies.
  • Strong corporate financial management, financial modeling, and familiarity with financial reporting. Business acumen, problem-solving, communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Experience with SAP financial applications preferred.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while prioritizing to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate/interact across leadership levels including executive management, department heads and operational leaders.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $85K-$95K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
