The Gas Tech Service Controller is responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
Work closely with GT Operational and Finance teams on the Service flow and overtime transactions to ensure adequate controls, including:
CSA Reneg
CSA Catalog reviews
CMR reviews
Repair progress, including JV scope of work
Flow equipment controls
BDR assessment
CACL aging
LDs review
Work on policy review and simplification to ensure a continuous alignment of processes and controls to business evolution, in compliance with SOX
Calculate and perform the quarterly equity pick up for equity method investments, to ensure adequate quarterly reporting
Provide timely and accurate analysis to IET Headquarter and Global Finance Operations team on the execution of accounting processes (monthly & quarterly close process, Balance sheet review, account reconciliation) and other relevant Controllership metrics.
Partner with Internal and external auditors, coordinate and support the audit to timely provide the documentation required.
Collaborate with Business finance and functions in the resolution of IA findings and SOX deficiencies, through the identification of the root cause, ensuring the non-reoccurrence of the issue.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. About 10 years of experience in Finance.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead teams.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
Controllership expertise would be considered as a plus.
