Job Description

The Exchange administrator will be part of a migration team for the MS Exchange infrastructure migrating from Exchange 2007 to 2010.  Administrator will participate in the planning, migration, testing and troubleshooting phases of the project.

  • Assist with implementation of Quest Tools, build of Quest lab and Quest production environments.
  • Identifies and plans the migration of Exchange mailboxes
  • Troubleshoots and remediates issues as they arise
  • Performs Proof of Concepts migrations
  • Performs migration roll-outs
  • Manages Email Spam/Virus filtering and security via MessageLabs and IronPort
  • Adhere to and help manage Corporate services levels and change management policies

Qualifications

  • MS Exchange subject matter expertise
  • 5-8 years MS Exchange 2010 and 2007 experience
  • Exchange migration experience in enterprise environments
  • Dell Quest Migration Manager tools experience critical
  • Cisco IronPort experience a plus
  • Symantec MessageLabs experience a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and Active Directory enterprise environments and associated technologies
  • Ability to work with-in a project team and with other departments as required
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
