* Job Summary
* The Senior Event Strategy Lead plays a key role on the Event Strategy team and is instrumental in developing and delivering high-impact experiences for our customers, partners, and coworkers across CDW's full event portfolio. This includes orchestrating national programs and campaign-aligned events that effectively showcase CDW's capabilities and fuel market demand as part of CDW's full event portfolio. This role works cross-functionally with campaign marketing, field marketing, sales, and partner teams to ensure CDW's expertise is brought to life across 1: many experiences- including digital, in-person, and hybrid formats. The Senior Event Strategy Lead supports the holistic and diversified CDW event portfolio and ensures all engagements deliver connected, high-quality, brand-aligned experiences that accelerate relationships and revenue.
* What you'll do
* Contribute to the long-term vision and evolution of CDW's event portfolio, identifying emerging trends and opportunities to keep our event strategy cutting-edge.
* Partner with Campaign and Field Marketing teams to lead the design event strategies that seamlessly align with key business priorities, audience segments, and funnel stages.
* Support planning and execution of event experiences across formats- national brand activations, campaign webinars, and customer roundtables.
* Serve as a steward of experience quality, ensuring that all CDW events reflect our brand, deliver clear value to attendees, and reinforce CDW's market leadership.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging, content, and delivery across all touchpoints within an event.
* Develop and maintain frameworks, best practices, and toolkits that support scalable and repeatable event execution across the organization.
* Maintain and optimize a centralized event calendar, supporting prioritization and internal alignment across teams.
* Track event performance metrics (registration, attendance, engagement, influenced pipeline) and contribute insights to campaign and field teams.
* Drive the continuous improvement of event processes, tools, and methodologies within the team, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Act as a mentor and resource for junior team members, sharing best practices, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
* What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent field and 5 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, campaign planning, or event strategy within a SaaS or enterprise technology company OR
* 9 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, campaign planning, or event strategy within a SaaS or enterprise technology company.
* A deep understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and a proven ability to articulate how events contribute to awareness, engagement, and conversion throughout the customer journey.
* Experience planning, promoting, and optimizing various event formats, including webinars, roundtables, executive briefings, and field activations.
* Proficient in marketing and event tools such as ON24, Cvent, Marketo, and Salesforce.
* Exceptional project management and communication skills, with a collaborative, proactive approach to working with stakeholders.
* Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience supporting or enabling Campaign and Field Marketing teams.
* Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and high-touch event formats.
* Experience managing event metrics and drawing insights that influence campaign planning and optimization. Pay range: $77,000 - $110,200 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 5% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
