We’re a team of builders, thinkers, and doers who believe that great companies are defined by the stories they tell and the experiences they create—internally and externally. We bring deep industry expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to innovation as we reshape what’s possible in wealth management.
As we grow, we’re looking for teammates who are ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and help elevate our brand in a way that reflects the bold ambitions we have for our company and the clients we serve.
Join us, and be part of a company that's not only moving fast—but making it count.
This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.

We’re looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a high-caliber team building the reusable AI capabilities that accelerate innovation across our platform. You’ll combine hands-on technical leadership with people management to deliver systems that are scalable, compliant, and production ready.

You’ll work closely with the architecture, data science, product, and security to:

  • Deliver the platform roadmap.
  • Build services and frameworks that make AI integration fast, safe, and consistent.
  • Maintain the operational excellence of critical AI systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow engineers building the AI backbone of the platform.
  • Own the delivery of high-availability AI services.
  • Set engineering standards for model deployment, orchestration, and evaluation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Stay ahead of AI infrastructure trends and bring the right ones into production.

What You Bring:

  • Track record of delivering production software in structured engineering environments with quality gates.
  • Experience running distributed systems, APIs, and production services at scale.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language (C#, Java, Python) and cloud-native development (Azure preferred).
  • 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership or management.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of AI/ML architecture, including LLM integration, vector databases, and RAG pipelines.
  • Experience in fintech or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, experiment tracking, and evaluation tooling.

Why This Role Matters:

Everything we build at Advisor360° — from advisor tools to client-facing apps — will depend on the services your team creates. You won’t just be leading a team; you’ll be shaping the foundation that enables AI to deliver real business value, at scale and with confidence.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
