Description

The position will manage energy pricing analysts to ensure the accurate creation, scheduling, and delivery of results of pricing opportunities at the direction of sales resources. This position is responsible for interacting with energy suppliers of electricity and natural gas on behalf of internal pricing analysts and sales resources to ensure that suppliers are aware of and are in possession of all necessary information in order to bid on pricing opportunities.

  • Complete assigned projects on or before the scheduled completion date by coordinating with sales resources, energy pricing analysts, other internal departments and the competitive supplier community. 
  • Perform as the primary leader for the pricing function. 
  • Perform as the central point of contact with competitive suppliers.
  • Communicate with energy suppliers to ensure continued engagement and accurate trading of necessary information in order to complete project objectives. 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the products and services provided by each supplier.
  • Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks. 
  • Take part in solutions-based discussions with sales resources and other department heads to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives. 
  • Mentors and sets a good example for lower-level team members and direct reports. 
  • Drive training and development in the key areas of industry knowledge of direct reports
  • Attend and contribute at division meetings
  • Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance. 
  • Complete weekly timecards for direct reports accurately and timely by 9am every Monday  
Requirements
    • A bachelor’s degree in a related field.   
    • Minimum 5 years prior experience in a similar role with an Energy Consultant/Broker or Competitive Energy Supplier.
    • Wholesale energy trading is also a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation. 
    • Ability to manage, schedule, train and evaluate direct reports. 
    • Key leadership competencies in addition to high ethical standards, strong values, integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, diplomatic problem solving and decision making, building effective teams, and action orientation are fundamental imperatives.   
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment that requires frequent changes of priorities
    • Must be committed, calm and professional at all times. 
    • Must understand Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point

Salary Range is $125,000- $150,000 yrly DOE
