At NetBox Labs, our mission is to make it easier to build and manage complex networks and infrastructure. As a product company, we do that by developing innovative software for network and infrastructure teams across open source, self-hosted, and cloud operating models.

We are seeking a proven product leader who operates at startup speed to lead our growing product team, drive execution and operational excellence, and partner with leaders across the company to bring our products to market. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the product management function at NetBox Labs, ensuring our teams deliver with clarity, speed, and discipline. You’ll also roll up your sleeves as the hands-on owner of key product efforts.

This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives on execution, operations, and accountability, while also contributing to strategic direction at the highest levels of the company.

In this role you will:
  • Lead and grow the product management team at NetBox Labs, mentoring PMs and fostering a high-performance, high-trust environment.

  • Drive operational rigor and execution discipline across the product organization - ensuring roadmaps are clear, progress is visible, and commitments are met.

  • Act as hands-on product manager for critical initiatives, directly shaping and driving high-priority product efforts.

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align product execution with company goals, influence product strategy and investment, and represent product priorities at the leadership level.

  • Engage directly with customers and community members to understand use cases, validate product direction, and ensure our execution stays grounded in real needs.

  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and marketing to ensure product packaging, pricing, and positioning drive both adoption and revenue growth.

  • Represent the company and product team in pre-sales and customer conversations, as well as at industry events and community forums.

You will work closely with:
  • CEO and executive team to align execution with strategy and represent the voice of product around the company.

  • Engineering leadership to ensure product priorities translate into clear, achievable technical plans, and to maintain alignment between product and platform goals.

  • Product Managers across our Application and Platform teams, who you will mentor and support in managing their respective product portfolios.

  • Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to ensure launches are impactful, customer needs are captured and addressed, and adoption and growth objectives are met.

  • Finance and operations to design packaging and pricing models that align with business objectives and customer value.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Sr. Director, VP, Head of, or equivalent) in B2B enterprise software or SaaS.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling product teams in high-growth startup or scale-up environments.

  • Deep expertise in product execution and operations: building processes, driving accountability, and ensuring organizations deliver with speed and quality.

  • Hands-on product management experience - comfortable stepping in to directly lead and deliver key product efforts.

  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to balance technical product development with business needs.

  • Experience working with open source projects and communities.

  • Experience working with enterprise IT environments, technologies, and teams.

  • Experience defining and executing product packaging, pricing, and go-to-market motions.

It would be fantastic if you have:
  • Substantial networking and infrastructure industry experience.

  • Experience scaling products and teams from “zero to one” through growth and maturity phases.

  • Familiarity with multiple go-to-market motions such as enterprise sales, partner/channel sales, and product-led growth.

  • Hands-on engineering experience as a network, devops, or software engineer.

Our culture and values:
  • We own and solve problems with high attention to detail.

  • Our open source contributors, users, customers & team are all part of our community. When our community wins, we win.

  • We prioritize simplicity and think twice before adding complexity

  • Clear communication helps keep our team aligned and collaborating smoothly.
