The Sr. Director of IT will play a central role in ensuring that ABCorp’s technology infrastructure enables the business to execute its strategic priorities — including secure payment card manufacturing, instant issuance, digital authentication, omnichannel engagement, and additive manufacturing (3D).

This position will focus heavily on enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, ERP optimization, global system performance, data management, and logical security, ensuring ABCorp’s platforms meet the stringent requirements of PCI-regulated environments and global manufacturing operations.

Based in Boston, the Sr. Director of IT will lead the IT organization supporting facilities across North America, ensuring systems operate seamlessly while maintaining high availability and low latency.

 • Align IT architecture with the company’s broader goals of operational resilience, ecosystem partnerships, and innovation.

Global Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture
 • Design and manage a secure hybrid-cloud architecture supporting global operations while minimizing system latency across North America
 • Ensure enterprise platforms (including ERP and related operational systems) perform reliably across all North American facilities.
 • Oversee data center strategy, networking, cloud infrastructure, and disaster recovery.

ERP and Operational Systems Leadership
 • Lead the optimization and integration of ABCorp’s ERP platform and supporting systems, including production scheduling and operational workflows.
 • Ensure ERP architecture supports manufacturing operations, personalization, logistics, and fulfillment across multiple facilities.
 • Drive improvements in system interoperability and automation across business units.

Data Architecture & Master Data Management
 • Establish a robust enterprise data architecture enabling ABCorp to centralize, govern, and leverage its data effectively.
 • Implement strong master data management practices across customers, products, manufacturing data, and financial systems.
 • Enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision making across the organization.

Security & Compliance
 • Oversee enterprise logical security architecture, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
 • Implement robust security controls across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and manufacturing systems.
 • Partner closely with security and compliance teams to ensure ABCorp maintains the highest standards of data protection and operational security.

Global IT Operations
 • Lead IT support across ABCorp’s footprint, ensuring operational continuity and system reliability.
 • Establish strong service delivery processes supporting manufacturing plants, corporate teams, and customer-facing systems.
 • Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness across all platforms.

Leadership & Organizational Development
 • Build and lead a high-performing IT organization.
 • Partner with executive leadership across operations, sales, finance, and product teams to align technology investments with strategic priorities.
 • Establish strong governance and project management frameworks for technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise IT leadership experience, with significant experience in infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
 • Demonstrated experience managing ERP systems in complex operational environments, ideally including manufacturing or regulated industries.
 • Deep expertise in cloud architecture, hybrid infrastructure, and global system performance optimization.
 • Experience operating in PCI-regulated environments or similarly high-security environments.
 • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and master data management.
 • Proven ability to lead global IT teams and complex technology transformations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in payments, fintech, secure manufacturing, or identity technologies.
 • Background supporting manufacturing operations or distributed production environments.
 • Familiarity with PCI DSS, secure data environments, and high-assurance security frameworks.
 • Experience working with teams across North America.

The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business judgment. This individual must be able to translate technology architecture into practical operational capability, ensuring ABCorp’s systems are not only secure and reliable, but positioned to support the company’s long-term growth.

This leader will help ensure ABCorp’s technology environment enables the organization to continue operating at the intersection of security, payments, and advanced manufacturing.
