Job Description

Your Role:

The Invesco Global Consulting Group is the industry’s most comprehensive communication and consulting services group with an exclusive focus on financial professionals. We provide actionable insights and coaching to help Financial Advisors, Managers and Home Office personnel transform their practices business and deploy synergistic teams that are designed to provide unparalleled insights and advice, as well as proactively service and consistently grow their businesses.

An important goal of the Senior Director Executive Consultant is to elevate the capability of the organization’s distribution team members to develop on-going systematic and in-person coaching services and maintain high-impact consultative relationships with their clients. This role will report directly to the Managing Director of Executive Consulting.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Acting as a consultant and coach to Invesco’s Top Clients and Top Financial Professional Teams, providing a unique differentiation of experience via presentations, hands-on workshops, and consultative/coaching engagements. This includes partnering directly with HNW and Institutional Advisors in addition to regional and national events requested by our platform clients.

  • Serving as a resource and coach internally for Distribution Market Leaders for their continued evolution and elevation of the consultative journey. This will include coaching and mentoring on all content related to Invesco Global Consulting, business strategy and territory stratification with the goal of deepening client relationships and providing unique and differentiated experiences.  

  • Partnering with Divisional Sales Managers, Market Leaders and Strategic Account Managers to cultivate Center of Influence relationships in the field, to uncover new opportunities and expand awareness of the Invesco Global Consulting Brand and the Invesco Total Client Experience at large.

  • Providing analysis and insights on current trends in the Financial Professional Industry and leveraging best practices to help Top Advisor Teams discover and diagnose their key opportunities for enhancing and growing their business.

  • Collaborating with Divisional Sales Managers to develop and execute an action plan to help their team members progressively develop the relevant skills and knowledge required to both present our content and consult with top advisors and their teams.

  • Partnering with internal thought leaders and subject matter experts to create and/or enhance Invesco content deliverables.

The Experience You Bring:

  • Significant industry experience as a financial advisor and brand/complex manager and/or extensive executive coaching and consulting experience.

  • Exceptional consultative, coaching and presentation skills with a passion for the industry and enthusiasm to share their knowledge.

  • Self-starter able to work independently to achieve defined goals.

  • This role is aligned to the Northeast region of the United States, geographic location of candidates is flexible within the New England and Tri-State New York areas.

  • Successful candidate must obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses within the first 6 months in the role.

  • Candidate must be willing and able to spend approximately 2-3 days per week traveling within the territory, giving industry event presentations and meeting with consultants and advisors.  

  • This position is remote and the Invesco workplace model will not apply

  • The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $240,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
